Commercial

Commercial electrical contractors

New builds, tenant improvements, remodels, and upkeep for businesses in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley.

What we take on

Our crew has wired new commercial buildings, tenant spaces, and remodels across Anchorage and the Valley. We build from the ground up, fit out spaces for new tenants, and keep existing buildings running.

Offices, shops, restaurants, warehouses, rentals. If it's a building with power in it, call and ask.

Where your project starts

You have an idea, not drawings

Design-build. We lay out the electrical with you and the rest of your team, then build it. One crew from the first sketch to the last cover plate, so there's no handoff between a designer and an installer.

You have drawings

Send us the plans and specs and we'll bid the electrical. If something in the drawings won't work in the field, we'll tell you before it costs you.

Something's down

A service call. Lights out, a tripped main, a machine that won't start. The emergency line is answered 24/7.

Tenant improvements

Moving into a space that was built for someone else almost always means electrical changes: more outlets at the counters, a circuit for new equipment, lights where the walls moved. Here's how it usually goes.

  1. Step 1

    Walk the space

What's there now, how much power the space has, and what the panel can take.

  2. Step 2

    Price and plan

You get the number up front, and we line our work up with the rest of the build-out.

  3. Step 3

    Permit

Where the job needs one, we pull the electrical permit.

  4. Step 4

    Rough-in

New circuits, boxes, and wire, before the walls and ceiling close up.

  5. Step 5

    Inspection

Rough-in gets inspected where required, before anything is covered.

  6. Step 6

    Trim and final

Devices, fixtures, and labels in, then the final inspection, and the space is ready to open.

Send these and we can price it faster

  • The floor plan or lease drawings
  • A list of equipment with nameplates: kitchen gear, compressors, ovens, chargers
  • Where signs go, inside and out
  • The landlord's requirements, if any
  • The date you need to open

Working around your hours

Tell us when the power can't be off, and we'll plan the work around your hours.

  • Planned shutoffs

When the power has to go off, you know when and for how long ahead of time, and we pick the time that hurts least.

  • Work in phases

One area at a time, so the rest of the space keeps working.

  • A clean site

Walkways clear and work areas closed off where customers or staff are around.

  • One contact

You know who to call with questions while the job is going.

Lighting and upkeep

Rows of long LED light fixtures across a dark ceiling

Lighting upgrades

Old fluorescent and metal halide fixtures burn more power and need bulbs and ballasts swapped all the time. Switching to LED cuts down on both. We do interior lights, parking lot and building lights, and the controls that run them: timers, sensors, and dusk-to-dawn.

Maintenance and repairs

Breakers that keep tripping, outlets that quit, emergency and exit lights that need to work when the power fails. We fix what's broken and look for what's about to be: loose connections, signs of heat, and circuits that are overloaded.
